Soundproof canvas
An original photo board and noise reduction solution. Soundproof canvases are perfect for interior spaces. They are filled with a special sound-absorbing foam and also make excellent photo boards. Their ability to reduce reverberation makes them ideal for meeting rooms, hotel receptions, restaurants, offices and other interior spaces that require both stylish decor and clean sound.
How does soundproof canvas work?
The soundproof canvas is made of the same material as our normal 4cm thick photo canvas, and the print quality will be of the highest quality.
However, the soundproof canvas is filled with a 40mm thick acoustic foam called melamine resin foam. This type of foam is known to effectively absorb sound over a wide range of frequencies, but it is particularly effective in the mid- and high-frequency range.
Here are the specific sound absorption coefficients, measured in accordance with the international standard DIN EN ISO 10534-2:
- 125Hz: 0.29
- 250Hz: 0.30
- 500Hz: 0.45
- 1000Hz: 0.80
- 2000Hz: 0.98
- 4000Hz: 0.94
